Let's Face It

Let's face it; people often stare at me

I ask them, "What are you looking at?"

They see my face as an oddity

Some of them say, "You are so ugly."

"What's a matter with you?" I ask loudly,

"Haven't you ever seen a turtle?"

"Haven't you ever seen moles or a ghost?"

"Yes, I have little green men on my mind."

"When I look at you face I say, "BORING!"

"Looking at you makes everyone start snoring."

"I have a wife who loves me, and doesn't think I'm ugly."

You see all of our faces are oddities

You see beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

I am a man who some people see as handsome

Because they look at me with the eyes of their hearts.
