The Gentle Giant

The gentle giant seemed to scare a lot of people.

He would never hurt anyone; he was O so gentle.

But everyone liked to watch him play football.

When he was on the grid iron

he made most of the touchdowns.

He was the star on the team and on the field

he had to be violent to win the games for them.

One day on the field an accident happened

and someone on the other team was hurt bad.

It wasn't intentional; it was what happens in the game.

But the gentle giant decided not to to play the game anymore.   

You see he was a true star in another way,

he cared about people and wanted to be gentle.
