In Our Hearts

The future of our country is not in

the scores of politicians who 

make speeches and argue about

the issues in Congress.

The future of our country is in

each of our hearts and we a 

nation of Americans are 

responsible for our country and

our freedom and also our

country's men and women and

how they live in our nation.

There doesn't seem to be any

reason for complaining when 

only 30% of American vote

and even less get involved

in the political process of

electing our government officials.

Only a few lift up their voices

when our country makes choices

and take the time to write letters

so our country can be better and

move on to new victories for

all of the citizens in our country.

You see the future of our country

is inside of each of our hearts

and together we can make a difference,

and change each and every circumstance

so that all of us will be free and

all of us can live in dignity without

homelessness and poverty.

Our future rests in the hearts of

you and me and each and every

American citizen.
