Awe and Wonder

When I think about life

I am filled with awe and wonder.

Our human bodies are so

complex and so well designed.

The thought of how all of that

has come together is a true

wonder. 

Often I stand up my hands

reaching toward the sky  

to touch the Spirit of my

creator and humbly give 

thanks and praise. Each of

us is so unique in O so 

many ways. We are unique

and unrepeatable miracles.

Yes, as for me, I am in awe

and wonder of the miracle

of life. Each day is such a 

very special gift.      

    

  

Mirror Image

When we look in the mirror 

what do we see, who we were

who were are, or who we 

are becoming? Does our mirror

reflect what's in our hearts and

who we really are?

Do we see an image of ourselves

through other people and how they

treat us, what they say to us, and from

their point of view. Do we accept their

images of us because we want to

please them and be accepted?

We all need a positive mirror image

of ourselves. That allows us to 

accept who we really are and get

a glimpse of who we are becoming.

So see all of the good about you

when you look in your mirror.     

  

 

Painting Folk Art

With Granddaughters

Young artists may be two years old

or four years old. The ages of my 

granddaughters. We love to paint

together. My oldest granddaughter

saw the guy in the middle of this

picture that I was painting and she

painted her vision of him, which I

may share later.

This painting represents our joy in

sharing our imaginations with each

other and having a lot of fun painting.

But I think that gradually my granddaughters

are learning how to paint and their 

confidence is growing each time.

Lots of encouragement is given to them

and bright and wonderful smiles are

returned to me. The stuff of golden 

memories, painting folk art with       

my granddaughters 2 and 4. 

   

 

Gentler Times

There were gentler days when 

we weren't always in such a hurry.

A gas station was not just a place

to buy gas. We also gathered there

and talked about what was happening

in our lives. Perhaps it is time for us

to get to know each other; know all 

of our neighbors and spend time

together at familiar places like gas

stations.

It's not about knowing a few people.

It's all about bonding with the 

people in our community. That 

means that we are no longer strangers

that we know each others names,

we discover who each of us is and

what they are becoming. I am not

sure how or when this will start. but

it is a dream that lives in my heart.     

   

 

All So Beautiful

I want you all to know that you are

O so beautiful. No matter what anyone

says or does you are truly beautiful.

Beauty so wonderful that it can't be

seen with eyes. A beauty seen with

each heart and O so delightful.

Yes, YOU, you are beautiful and if

someone can't see that then he or

she is blind or has no heart at all.

The ugly truth is that some are so

blind that he or she can't see the beauty

in others. Yet all that they need

to do is to open their hearts and 

see the auhthentic and true beauty,

O YES, I want each of you to know

that you are O so beautiful.    

     

    

 

Valentines Day

Hopes and Wishes

I wish you many happy valentines days

with so much love and such great joy.

For some the loss of a loved one hurts.

My wish for each of you is healing and

a time with golden and precious memories.

We all need soul mates who make our

hearts race with passions and gratitude

and feeling O so good being with that 

special him or her.

My hope and prayer for each of you

is that you find your soul mate and

grow a relationships that keeps getting

better and better, with even more

joy and happiness,

Please O please find the music of life.

Look inside of you and find all of the

unique, wonderful and good things

about you,

Celebrate all of those things with joy

when you get up ing the morniing

and greet the new day feeling good

about who you are and what you

are doing with your life.
